  • Planning and structural development of the procurement, logistics and delivery schedule. 
  • Follow-up meetings to accurately identify and confirm individual site scopes and programme updates. 
  • Project completion plan – Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). 
  • Post completion — incorporates Care and Maintenance guides and warranties.

White Bay Power Station

Client: NSW Government
Contract : FDC Construction And Fitout
Value: $2.6m ongoing

Scope

A landmark project for FDC, White Bay Power Station (WBPS) spans 38,000m2, with its highest point reaching 76m. FDC’s work on WBPS has involved predominantly conservation and remedial works, electrical, lighting and fire services, hazmat removal, structural steel repairs, concrete spalling, and facade repairs.

Goodwin Brothers has been a part of the Heritage Remedial Repairs and Roof Replacement Project work at the site. Work involved major stormwater and hydraulic box gutter upgrades due to extensive corrosion of the existing material. The large-scale roof replacement consisted of Heritage roof sheets and Colorbond Ultra roof sheets, which have been designed for Australian marine and industrial environments.

Goodwin Brothers have been working as part of an integrated project team with the highest levels of accountability and excellence in management procedures for this NSW Government-led project.

Sydney Cricket Ground Maintenance & Minor Works

Client: Venues NSW
Contract: National Projects & Maintenance (NPM)
Value: $1.6m over four years

Scope

Working as a sub-contractor of NPM, Goodwin Brothers had been involved in scheduled maintenance and minor works at the Sydney Cricket Ground and surrounds for over four years, gaining valuable insight into the site and the culture and values of the Venues NSW management team.
We understand that the ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally has been essential, and we are proud to have developed a strong rapport through providing a high level of customer service during this work.

The range of activities undertaken during this time included:

  • Ad-hoc maintenance and urgent repairs. 
  • Scheduled maintenance tasks within the maintenance schedule. 
  • Completion of documentation required for completed works.
  • Onsite event support. 
  • Minor works for amenities upgrades. 
  • Minor works for training area upgrades.

25 Martin Place

Client: Dexus
Contract: National Projects & Maintenance(NPM)
Value: $350k

Scope

NPM partnered with Dexus and Creo Design Group to design and construct office space along with new amenities and lift lobbies in the prestigious 25 Martin Place building.

The team held quality in the highest regard with an elegant design and modernist architecture used to convey a picture of sophistication.

Goodwin Brothers was contracted to complete the plumbing and associated works for seven speculative suite fit-outs across multiple floors. There was intricate detail in all the work completed, with copper soldered pipework, and stainless-steel pumping stations used across the suites.

This project required careful planning, detailed pipe sizing, along submission of designs for approval with the building engineer. With several trades working across the fit-out, Goodwin Brothers were involved in Project Management working directly with building management along
with contributing to coordination and scheduling.

Western Sydney Wanderers Training Facility

Client: Western Sydney Wanderers

Value: $580k

Scope

Western Sydney Wanderers Training Facility Value: $580kContract: AMA Projects Featuring nine all-weather five-a-side FIFA grade synthetic turf pitches, Wanderers Fives provide an integrated high-performance facility for community use and Western Sydney Wanderers talent development pathways. The facility, which was funded through a $5 million NSW Government grant, also includes a club house with office space, function room and change rooms, new amenities building, landscaping, and supporting infrastructure.
